I am listening to last.fm right now; Hoochie Coochie Man. I Can't Be Satisfied. I am very attracted to the early blues musicians. It is like reading the bible of blues. I see some characteristics of early players in contemporary blues players, jazz players, at the 57th Street Gallery in Oakland, on Monday open mike night, or any night. I think that these artists get into their music and they create a life beyond life, meaning that they sweep themselves into other dimensions and us along with them if we are willing to go.
