This pastel portrait was commissioned by the dog owner in a gallery setting where I was working on site. I took photos of Demo, and created this portrait. Less than five years after, the dog passed away. The owner came into the gallery and said that he was so glad he had the portrait made. Great Danes don't have long life lines. Maybe he knew that at the time.
