Artist's Description
This temple built by Inca people in the 1400's is noted for it's fine assemblage of carefully chilled blocks of stone. Ecuador in South America is situated on the equator, hence the name Ecuador.
The Spanish came in the 1500's, after the early tribes. Inca's might have originated in Peru. I visited this site, and noted the carefully stacked stones, which were created without any modern tools.
