Artist's Description

Laguna del Sol is a small town in the hills surrounding the two of Cuenca. There are working families, babies, school children, all either driving small cars, taking taxis to the nearby El Valle where they depart for the areas of schools and work places and are seen shopping at the one local market for food supplies. There are three small markets within the residence areas for filling in some foods for the pantries. I moved here recently and took to drawing to learn about the areas, the weather and the structures, as well as the lagoon.
