Description
This is a quick study in plein air painting, using a palette knife for texture. I wanted to depict water and sky and I was interested in portraying the time of day, 3:30 pm. The pink in the sky is the impending early sunset. This painting is the western view from the dock of the Sportsman's Club at Point San Pablo, Richmond, CA
